Nice to meet you! My name is Rachel, and I am the eyes and ears behind The MoshUp. I first started this blog in college, and through writing fatigue and the pandemic, decided to deactivate it. Once I began attending live music again post-pandemic, I rediscovered my passion for sharing my knowledge in this field and thought it was time to bring the blog back!

Music connects me more to myself and those around me. It is a large reason why I travel, why I have taken such an interest in small businesses that surround festivals, and why I find such happiness in this world. It can take me on an emotional journey, from crying to getting down and everything in between. I am so grateful for what music has given me in this world, and I am so glad to have a platform where I can share what I know from this passion of mine!
