One of the most popular places to find rave outfits for men and women is iHeartRaves. From cute sets and bodysuits to leg wraps and any accessories you may need, iHeartRaves is a one-stop shop to get outfitted for your next festival. They oftentimes have sales for major holidays and before many EDM festivals that may be coming up. Their items are mid-tier in terms of cost, and with the proper care have lasted me many years.

One of the major perks of iHeartRaves is that they have clothing that can be found on Amazon. If you are in a pinch and need something quickly, this can be a lifesaver. Their clothing varies in look and feel, so if you can find something for your inner bass head or festival fairy. Be sure to subscribe to their mailing list if you want to find out about sale announcements or any promos they may be running!

2. Dollskill

If you are looking for a website that is essentially an outlet for rave clothes, this is it. Dolls Kill has the largest assortment of festival outfits and rave clothes that I have been able to come across. Because of this, their site can be almost overwhelming to navigate. I’ve found it easiest to go into the site knowing what you want so you can look at all of their options. They also have the option to categorize the clothing by theme, so if you are going for a certain look, putting together the outfit is much easier.

Not only does Dolls Kill have rave and festival outfits, but they also have clothing for every day. The brands that they carry can vary from small rave clothing companies, to For Love and Lemons and Frankie’s Bikinis. Because they have such a wide selection of items and brands, their pricing can vastly change. Certain items will be very cheap in terms of cost, while others can be expensive because they come from a nice brand.

Dollskill is another brand that is frequently running sales, so sign up for their email list or check out their site for the latest promos on their products!

3. Kayo Anime

If you are wondering where to buy festival clothes and want to lean into the desert burning man energy, Kayo Anime is the place to go. One of my favorite things about Kayo Anime is that they have a storefront located in Haight-Ashbury of San Francisco, so you can go try on the outfits before purchasing. They also have a site that you can visit and purchase from if you prefer online shopping.

I first discovered Kayo Anime walking down the streets of San Francisco. Their shop is small but houses many different clothing options. They have everything from fashionable bodysuits and sets to kimonos and accessories. Not only are their items great quality, but they are created by individual designers, so you know you are supporting a small business. Because of this, they tend to be more expensive than some large festival retailers. However, the quality of the clothing speaks for itself. Most items I have from Kayo Anime are extremely soft, fit just right, and are unique to the store. They have a wide selection of clothing for both men and women, so if anyone enters the store, I am confident they will find what they need.

Lastly, Kayo Anime tables at many festivals, such as Lightning in a Bottle. This is another great opportunity to meet the manager of the store and talk to them about the work that is put in by the designers to make the clothing. You are also able to try on the clothing and get outfitted at the festival.

4. Her Pony the Label

Her Pony The Label is an Australian brand taking the festival world by storm. I would say this is on the higher end where to buy festival clothes, so items tend to be upwards of $100.00 each. You also have to pay for additional shipping outside unless you spend $350.00 when purchasing from the United States.

If you are swayed by the cute jingle skirts, guys and girls matching sets, and embellished pieces, then you can look past the price tag. The brand promotes slow fashion, making great quality clothing from sustainable sources. The pair of leggings pictured above are some of my favorites, and I was lucky enough to purchase them new with tags from Mercari for only $35.00! When purchasing secondhand or off of the Her Pony website, be sure to look at the sizing conversions if you are purchasing outside of Australia. Their sizing can be off and returns will be an additional fee.

5. Etsy, Thrift Stores, or at the Venue

Some of my favorite festival clothing finds have been from Etsy, the vendors at the festivals themselves, or from thrifting at nearby shops! I highly recommend looking at Etsy if you have a specific rave outfit or festival outfit in mind. Many times Etsy sellers can customize the clothing to be the right color or size for each individual. Additionally, you are supporting a small business or individual that is selling on Etsy. My favorite set of bell bottoms are pictured above and come from Home Cooked Karma on Etsy!

If you need to take a break from the music and want to shop around at festivals, many have vendors set up selling different clothing, accessories, and other cool treasures. One of my favorite things to do at festivals is play dress up at the vendors and walk away with a souvenir to wear during and at other shows! It’s so fun to talk to the small business owners and those working the stations to see how the brand got started and what plans they have for the future.
Lastly, I highly recommend shopping secondhand and thrifting! I have been able to save so much money on festival clothing by looking on Poshmark and Mercari for rave clothing. I have also gone to many cool thrift stores (Black and Brown in San Jose and Wasteland in San Francisco) to name a few. Countless numbers of clothing items that I wear to festivals and shows have come from these shops. You never know what you will find!

It can be overwhelming when you aren’t sure where to buy festival clothes. Whether you’re choosing to shop secondhand, support a small business, or dive into the colorful websites of larger clothing brands, shopping for festival clothing should be a fun and freeing experience. Remember, you are allowed to be your authentic self at festivals and raves, so you should show up wearing whatever you want to wear! It doesn’t matter where you buy festival clothing, what matters is that you feel like yourself wearing it!
